IL-15 immunotherapy for canine melanoma or osteosarcoma with pulmonary metastasis
Evergreen Animal Hospital (長青動物醫院), Taipei · Taiwan
Recruiting
What is being offered: Official hospital recruitment page. Cytology- or histopathology-confirmed melanoma or osteosarcoma; breed, age, weight and sex unrestricted. Requires pulmonary metastatic lesion >1.0 cm and no life-threatening tumor-related symptoms. Current steroids or other immunosuppressants are not allowed. IL-15 is given weekly for 8 treatments, by subcutaneous injection and, for pulmonary metastatic disease, also via nebulized inhalation. IL-15 drug is free; diagnostics and supportive medications are owner-paid. IMPORTANT matcher prescreen: official protocol specifically requires a lung metastatic lesion >1.0 cm; current schema cannot encode the 1-cm pulmonary-lesion threshold separately, so final eligibility must confirm this criterion.

May not qualify if: Current steroids; Immunosuppressive
Costs / coverage: 🟡 Partially funded. The IL-15 study drug is provided at no charge; owners pay for required tests and supportive medications during treatment.
