These terms explain the limits of the information provided by Vet Trial Finder.

General information only
Vet Trial Finder is an independent informational project. It does not diagnose cancer, provide veterinary advice, prescribe treatment or create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. The matcher is a screening aid that identifies options that may be worth asking about; it does not determine medical appropriateness or eligibility.
Clinical-trial information
Trial status, eligibility criteria, participating locations, contacts and financial support can change without notice. A listing, match label or last-verified date is not a promise that enrollment remains open, that space is available or that an animal will qualify. The treating veterinarian and the research or treatment team are the final authorities. Confirm the current protocol, risks, visits, costs and consent terms directly before making medical or travel decisions.
No treatment recommendation
Listings are not ranked as better than standard care or better than one another. Inclusion does not mean that Vet Trial Finder recommends a study, treatment, hospital, product or sponsor. The absence of a result does not mean that no treatment or research option exists.
Emergencies
Do not delay veterinary or emergency care while searching this site or waiting for an email response. Difficulty breathing, collapse, uncontrolled bleeding, severe pain or another urgent problem should be assessed by a veterinarian immediately.
Third-party organizations and links
Vet Trial Finder is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the universities, hospitals, registries, sponsors, research teams or companies listed on the site unless a page expressly says otherwise. Their names and trademarks are used to identify publicly described sources, services, studies or locations. External websites and their content, availability, privacy practices and services are controlled by their operators.
Costs and funding
Cost information is summarized from official public sources when available. Terms such as funded or study-covered apply only to the items described in the listing. Travel, an initial examination, routine care, unrelated illness, complications or care after withdrawal may remain owner-paid. Confirm all financial terms with the study team before enrollment.
Accuracy and availability
Vet Trial Finder works to use reliable primary sources but does not warrant that the site is complete, error-free, continuously available or current at every moment. To the extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Responsibility for decisions
Users remain responsible for discussing medical decisions with a veterinarian and confirming information with the relevant organization. To the extent permitted by law, Vet Trial Finder and its operator are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on a listing, an external website, changed enrollment, travel arrangements or care provided by a third party. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Copyright and permitted use
Original Vet Trial Finder text, design and graphics are protected by copyright. Public facts about studies, hospitals and contacts remain public facts. Users may link to public pages and quote short passages with attribution. Republishing substantial original descriptions, graphics or the compiled site presentation requires permission. Contact info@vettrialfinder.com for permission or a rights concern.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The terms may be updated when the site or its practices change; the effective date above will be revised.
